I am excited to share an update regarding the health insurance plans I currently accept — along with additional networks in progress and information about PIP claims.
As I continue expanding access to medical massage therapy, my goal is to make it as simple as possible for clients to use their insurance benefits when eligible.
✅ Currently Credentialed & Accepting
I am officially credentialed and accepting:
- Premera Blue Cross
- Regence BlueShield
- Washington State Department of Labor & Industries (L&I claims)
If you carry one of these plans, you may be eligible to use your massage therapy benefits. Some plans require a referral or prescription, depending on your specific policy.
⏳ Currently In the Credentialing Process
I am also in the process of becoming credentialed with:
- TriWest Healthcare Alliance (serving our nation’s Veterans)
- Aetna
- Kaiser Permanente
- Ambetter
- WholeHealth Living (Choices by WholeHealth Living)
Credentialing timelines vary by company and can take several weeks to a few months. I will post updates as each plan becomes active.
🚗 PIP Claims & Superbills
For clients using Personal Injury Protection (PIP) coverage following a motor vehicle accident, I create detailed superbills that you may submit to your auto insurance carrier for reimbursement when applicable.
If you are working with an attorney or insurance adjuster, I am happy to provide the documentation needed to support your claim.
What This Means for You
If your insurance plan is currently pending credentialing, you are welcome to:
- Schedule and pay out-of-pocket temporarily
- Wait until I am officially in-network
- Reach out to discuss your options
If you’re unsure whether your plan covers medical massage therapy, I’m happy to help guide you on what to look for when verifying benefits.
Thank you for supporting Amend Massage Therapy as I continue expanding access to care. If you have questions about your specific coverage, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
